Inositol hexaphosphate is a naturally occurring component of plant fiber that is thought to possess antioxidant, anticancer, and other beneficial properties. IP6 is found in the germ of bran portion of whole grains (especially whole kernel corn) and legumes. IP6 enhances the immune system by boosting the activity of natural killer cells (a type of white blood cell that destroys tumor cells and cells infected with certain organisms). IP6 is also thought to prevent tumor development by controlling cell development, and may assist in the treatment of existing cancer by helping natural killer cells to enter cancer cells and by triggering cancer cells to undergo apoptosis (cellular suicide).*
Side Effects: IP6 can interfere with iron absorption, thus it should only be taken under medical supervision. People with cancer or immune-related illnesses should talk to their specialist before taking IP6.*
Recommended Dosage: Take 2 capsules , 2 times per day.
